Fancey-May

This is Fancey-May Blue. She's Cleo's mom.
She's always one of my favorites to draw. Too bad she's dead. She died in a motorcycle accident when Cleo was nine. She was only thirty-nine years old.
I designed her hair long before Jersy Shore was on, so no it's not a Snookie do'. I was going for a mix of a 1950's mixed with (for lack of a better defintion, cuz I'm not sure if that's the best term for it.) an emo do. I'm sucker for that kinda thing.
Well, as you can see she's where Cleo gets her curves, and her taste in clothing.

Bio: The Story of Fancey's life is very much your typical rags to riches story. Born to parents, Darren and Deliah, things her kinda tough on her as a child. they were so poor that a year after her father left her mother was so desperate that she sold Fancey into prostitution! Luckily Fancey was able to escape before any damage was done. She lived on the streets for a about a year before meeting a a wealthy gentleman named Kato Yakamaya. It's not what you think. Kato, surprised by how much Fancey looked like his late daughter, Hinata, took Fancey in as his daughter, and his beneficary. (you wanna talk 'bout your dumb luck!) Fancey lived with Kato for the next two years, he was the first real father figure he had in her life. She often told him that she had wanted to become a singer, and Kato reconised her great talent, so when he died he left her enough money to get her started in the music business. After very much success and meeting her husband, your normal everyday average, working, anthro-dog, Marc Anthony. Fancey soon lost all her money after one of her managers embezzeled it away from her. She was forced to retire. But Fancey never lost hope though. She quickly adopted to being a stay-at-home mom, raising her four kids. Unfortuently, she died at the age of thirty-nine in an motorcycle accident. But, she was a good mom and an awesoem person. She is the one who Cleo admires the most, and is also the reason why Cleo wants to become a singer.

I forgot to mention, for those of you who listen to country music. (yeah, I do listen to it , GET OVER IT!) Fancey's name and life story (the begenning of it) is based very much off the song "Fancey" by Reba Macentire.
I've always liked that song. And Reba has always been a favorite of mine, so I see Fancey having a very Reba like personality.
The picture is designed to look like an old autographed black and white picture, so you probably can't tell, but that's a chinese styled dress she's wearing. (Kato's influence )
